The Epson SureColor SC-T3200 Printer is a professional-grade, high-quality printer from the SureColor technical series. Flexible Media Support Techniques for Epson SC-T3200

The SureColor Technical series has three different printer sizes to meet different output requirements.

The 24-inch (610mm) models support output up to A1 and come in a desktop or floor-standing form. The 36-inch (914mm) versions can handle output up to A0, while the 44-inch (1118mm) models support output up to B0. The printers are designed to be cost-effective, featuring large, affordable waste tanks and consuming minimal power and ink. They use ink cartridges in three sizes (110 ml, 350 ml, and 700 ml) to meet different operational and cost-per-print needs.

The Epson SureColor SC-T3200 Printer is designed to accept a wide range of roll and single-sheet media. It can handle paper as light as 80gsm for drafts and has a straight path for thicker stock up to 1.5mm for presentations and models. The series features a heavy-duty, high-speed auto-cutter that can cut a wide variety of media and slice an A1 sheet in just 2 seconds. Roll media is quick and easy to load with a spindle-less design that facilitates easy exchange. For users who work with multiple media types, optional Roll Media Adaptor kits are available for pre-attachment to stored rolls. Additionally, Roll Belts are offered for tension maintenance and edge protection.

All printers have an inbuilt Roll Media Barcode Management system that tracks consumption and enables automatic reconfiguration upon loading. The 36-inch and 44-inch models can also be ordered in a dual-roll version. This allows for fast roll exchange (26 seconds) and manual or automatic roll selection with configurable parameters. The system can automatically rotate images for optimal media consumption. Additionally, it can span large print runs over multiple rolls for efficient, uninterrupted production.

Easy to Install and Flexible to Operate

The Epson SC-T3200 Printer comes equipped with high-speed networking capabilities and supports the latest addressing and security protocols. They are compatible with standard Macintosh and Windows applications. Additionally, they support HP-GL/2 and RTL emulation for specialized CAD, GIS, and mathematical applications. Epson designed the printers with convenient, all-front-loaded consumables and a compact design. Additionally, they placed all connections on the right side, allowing users to place them against a wall or in a corner.

This technical printer boasts a high degree of self-maintenance and includes built-in help. Additionally, it provides remote email notifications for error and job status updates. The floor-standing configurations come with a stand and media bin with adjustable output presentation. Meanwhile, the Single Roll models feature an adjustable bin that holds up to 20 sheets with a flat or folded display. The Dual roll models have an extra-large bin that can be stowed when not in use. Additionally, an optional auto take-up reel is available for the T7200 model to enable high-volume roll-to-roll production.

An optional PS Module provides the same functionality, with additional high-speed, hardware-based Adobe original Postscript 3 image processing. The PS functionality operates via hot-folder ‘drag-n-drop’ with configurable job processing and selectable document security. An optional Wide Format Scanner is also available for use with the 36-inch and 44-inch printers. The scanner supports media up to 38 inches wide and provides high-speed, high-resolution color scan, copy, and document-sharing facilities. Customers can purchase the Scanner and PS Module along with the relevant printer models to create a complete, high-performance MFP system.
